Therefore he left all that he had in Joseph’s hand, [a]and took account of nothing, that was with him, save only of the bread, which he did eat. And Joseph was a fair person, and well favored.

Now therefore after these things, his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph, and said, [b]Lie with me.

But he refused and said to his master’s wife, Behold, my master knoweth not what he hath in the house with me, but hath committed all that he had to mine hand.
